SUMMARY:General Membership Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The HBA's next General Membership Meeting (GMM) is Tuesday October 19th\, 5pm - 8pm at the Cricket Club in downtown Battle Creek (36 W Michigan Ave.\, Battle Creek\, MI  49017).  Our special guest speaker will be Bob Filka\, CEO of the HBA of Michigan.  He will be giving us an update on the Michigan Building Codes process\, Legislative efforts in Lansing and more.\n\n\n\nOur October GMM will be held in the private 2nd floor area of the Cricket Club with food provided by the HBA and cash bar available.  Bob Filka will speak around 6pm\, with social and networking time before and after.  \n\n\n\nAll members are not only encouraged to attend\, but since it's the middle of our annual Membership Drive - bring a prospective member\, too!  We'll have membership info for your prospects.  If your guests join by Nov. 30th\, your guest will save $100 on their first year dues and you will also get a $100 'builder bucks' credit on your HBA account!  \n\n\n\nIf you haven't been to the Cricket Club\, it's worth attending to experience Battle Creek's premier dart\, craft cocktail and draft bar... which also happens to be home to the longest bar in the state.
