DESCRIPTION:Join the HBA on Tuesday 9/28 at the Kalamazoo Humane Society as we collect materials to build shelters for dogs who need protection from the cold winter months. The Lunchbox food truck will be providing some delicious street food as we cut materials down to size.\n\n\n\nDid you know the Kalamazoo Humane Society offers reduced-cost or free dog houses for owners that cannot afford one? We'd love to help make our area's outdoor pets warm this winter. Can you help?\n\n\n\nWe are still looking for material donations:\n\n\n\nMaterials\n\n\n\n  " sheets of plywood \n\n 2" X 4" X 8' treated\n\n 2" X 4" X 8' untreated\n\n 3  " door hinges\n\nShingles\n\n\n\nThese materials will be used to make a simple dog house. Materials can be from scraps as long as they are minimum dimensions. Please see the DOG HOUSE PLAN to see if you can help. \n\n \n\nFollow the Homes for Hounds signs to drop materials off at the Create Space Storage unit located at the Humane Society 2272 River Street\, M-F from 8-5pm.
