Building & Development Opportunities in Barry County (Hastings, Delton & Middleville)

As a Builder member of the HBA of Western Michigan, you are invited to a brief meeting to learn more about opportunities for your business in Barry County.  

Barry County has shovel-ready lots in developments/subdivisions in multiple communities in Barry County, specifically in the communities of Hastings, Middleville and Delton. Each of these communities are experiencing significant housing demand at nearly all price points. This demand is due both to expanding employment opportunities within the greater Barry County area, as well as our relative proximity to the booming growth of the Grand Rapids region. These opportunities would be great for the right builder(s), and the County believes there is a lack of awareness of the opportunities that exist in the community. Attend this special meeting to learn more about these opportunities for builders as Barry County is 'just up the road' from the Kalamazoo & Battle Creek areas. 
 
Representatives from the Barry County Economic Development Alliance, City of Hastings, Village of Middleville and Barry Township (Delton) as well as the owner of Barry County Lumber will identify specific opportunities for housing, trends, demographics, specific sites/lots and amenities in each community as well as answer questions about these opportunities.
 
The City of Hastings also has plats that could be completed as well as available tracts of land that would be ripe for underground development as eventual platting.
