The HBA is splitting our Government Relations efforts in Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties to better focus on efforts in each county. You are invited to join our Calhoun Kick-Off meeting with City of Battle Creek Inspections Supervisor, Rick Bolek on Wednesday, May 26th at 9am on Zoom.
A lot has changed since Rick joined the City staff and we’ve asked him to address: a little about his background and when he came to BC, what the initial complexion of the department was when he started, what changes he has made, the new staff of inspectors, and what his vision is going forward.
The goal of the Calhoun County efforts is to build open and productive relationships between municipalities in the county and the residential construction/remodeling industry thru the HBA. Future meetings are envisioned with other Calhoun County cities, townships, zoning/planning boards, historic district commissions, community development, etc.
