The HBA of Western Michigan is proud to announce a special member only event! The HBA is part of a special initiative in collaboration with MCTI (Michigan Career & Technical Institutue) and the Community Action Agency of Allegan, focused on bringing more trained individuals into residential construction - while addressing proverty, housing, and other needs in the community.
By attending this FREE lunch and open house you'll enjoy: lunch prepared by MCTI's culinary arts students, a facility tour and meeting the students and instructors in the construction / trades programs. There will be sessions about apprenticeship programs - how they work, what's required and how you have access to State of Michigan funding to actually pay for the apprentice!
This is a special opportunity to all members should consider attending. Not only does MCTI train individuals for construction and the trades, they also have programs in landscaping, machine technology, office automation, cabinet making/millwork, graphic communications, and more.
